How to Download a TikTok Video Without the Watermark

If you've used TikTok's own "Save Video" button, you've probably noticed the creator's username stamped across the corner of the file. That watermark isn't part of the original video - TikTok adds it specifically when you export through the app itself.

Why TikTok adds a watermark

TikTok's built-in save feature brands every export with the creator's handle and the TikTok logo. It's meant to encourage re-shares while still crediting the original creator, but it also means the file you get isn't a clean copy of the video.

How to get the video without the watermark

Instead of using TikTok's in-app save button, use a link-based tool that pulls the original file directly from TikTok's servers:
